Chelsea eyeing Serie A boss to replace Mauricio Pochettino
Chelsea could replace Mauricio Pochettino with Inter Milan manager Simone Inzaghi this summer, according to Teamtalk.
The Blues have had another poor Premier League campaign and they are currently 11th in the table with only 39 points.
Pochettino continues to remain in the job, but there is speculation that he could be dismissed if the Blues don't qualify for Europe.
The London giants are currently into the semi-final stage of the FA Cup. Winning the competition will guarantee a Europa League spot.
However, that is far easier said than done. The Blues face a tough challenge against Manchester City in the last four of the competition.
If they were to win, the club could face either Coventry City or Manchester United. The Blues will need to be at their best to lift the trophy.
Meanwhile, the club are currently five points behind seventh-placed West Ham United in the league, but they have two games in hand.
If Pochettino fails to guide Chelsea to Europe, the hierarchy plan to approach for Inzaghi, who is close to winning the Serie A with Inter.
The Nerazzurri have been in exemplary form in the Italian top-flight and they are 14 points ahead of second-placed Milan with nine games left.
