Chelsea turn attention to signing English striker

Chelsea have turned their attention to signing Brentford striker Ivan Toney with Arsenal cooling their interest.
The Blues have lacked sufficient firepower in the final third this term and there has been an over-reliance on Cole Palmer.
The hierarchy will want a marquee striker ahead of next season and it appears Toney could emerge as the top target for them.
Arsenal were heavily linked with Toney during the January transfer window and they continue to be mentioned as his suitors.
However, the north London giants are looking for a more high-profile option and Toney could end up elsewhere this summer.
The Blues are now leading the pursuit of the former Newcastle United man, who could be prised away for around £80 million.
Toney has yet to make a decision regarding his future, but it is quite clear that he is preparing to part ways with Brentford.
The club have already reached an agreement to sign Igor Thiago from Club Brugge as his potential replacement this summer.
