Arsenal midfielder expresses desire to stay at club
Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey has expressed his desire to stay at the club amid the speculation over his future.
The Ghana international was linked with a move to Saudi Arabia last summer, but a transfer did not materialise in the end.
There continues to remain uncertainty over his future, but Partey has insisted that he is really happy with the club.
He said: "My head is always here. This is where I choose to play, I'm really happy every time I'm on the field."
"I know a lot of speculations have been going on, but for me, I'm really happy to be here and to continue playing for this club."
Partey's current deal with the Gunners expires in June next year. There are no plans to discuss an extension with him.
With the hierarchy said to be eyeing a young midfielder, there is a high possibility that Partey could be offloaded.
A number of Saudi clubs are keeping tabs on his situation while Juventus are also admirers of the former Atletico man.
