Arsenal striker wanted by promotion-chasing club
Leicester City are looking at the prospect of signing Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah during the summer transfer window.
Nketiah started the season in good fashion with five goals in no time, but he has since been a fringe player for the Gunners.
The likes of Leandro Trossard, Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus have been preferred over him for the number nine role.
Hence, it is anticipated that he could move on in the summer and Football Transfers claim that the Foxes are interested in him.
The Midlands outfit are not assured of promotion from the Championship, but they are still among favourites to return to the top tier.
The club want a young striker to lead the line on his comeback and Nketiah has been earmarked as a replacement for Jamie Vardy.
Arsenal are currently eyeing around £40 million for their graduate, but may have to accept less amid his reduced minutes this term.
West Ham United and Brighton & Hove Albion are also admirers. They could have an edge if the Foxes are not promoted.
