Liverpool agree terms with Portuguese manager

Liverpool have agreed terms with Sporting Lisbon manager Ruben Amorim over taking charge as their new head coach, according to Sky Sports.
Amorim is regarded as one of the best young managers in Europe and he has played a huge part in Sporting's progress. They are currently top of the Primeira Liga ahead of Benfica.
His portfolio has reportedly impressed the Liverpool board and there is now a verbal agreement with him. However, the club are yet to make a final decision over the appointment.
The Merseyside giants are expected to assess other candidates over the coming days before making a final decision. Amorin is widely expected to be Jurgen Klopp's successor.
Liverpool are currently second in the Premier League, behind Arsenal on goal difference. With seven games left, they should be optimistic of still winning the league title.
The fans will be hoping that will be the case. Klopp has already guided them to their maiden Premier League title and he will want to leave the club on a high note this summer.
