Man Utd favourites to sign Arsenal & Chelsea striker target?

Manchester United have emerged as potential dark horses to sign Brentford striker Ivan Toney during the summer transfer window.

Toney has been linked with a big-money move away from the Bees for some time and he is widely expected to be sold this summer.

He could be available for £40-50 million in the transfer market and Mirror claim that United could make a move for his services.

Arsenal and Chelsea have been much fancied to land his signature, but the Gunners are looking for a younger option in the market.

Chelsea also have the intention to sign Victor Osimhen from Napoli. This could hand an advantage to United in the race for Toney.

United are eyeing a new striker to compete with Rasmus Hojlund and Toney appears as a solid candidate to occupy the role.

Toney has netted only four times in the Premier League after his betting ban this term. He is still highly rated among elite clubs.
