Chelsea agree personal terms with Messinho

Chelsea have agreed personal terms with Palmeiras wonderkid Messinho ahead of a potential transfer, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The west London giants have been monitoring the 17-year-old for a while and they have now agreed terms over a long-term contract with him.

The Blues are yet to open formal talks with Palmeiras, but they are growingly confident of securing an agreement for his services pretty soon.

Messinho currently has a release clause worth €55m in his contract. Chelsea plan to pay €26m up front with another €32m in add-ons.

The Blues regretted missing out on Endrick to Real Madrid, and they are now determined to land Messinho ahead of their European rivals.

Due to Brexit rules, the youngster won't be allowed to join the Blues until he turns 18. If a deal is agreed, he will link up with them in the summer of 2025.
