Saudi Arabian club to smash record for Osimhen
Al-Ahli could be set to smash the Italian transfer record with a move for Napoli striker Victor Osimhen. The Nigerian international has been constantly linked with a move away from Naples, and Saudi Arabia now looks set to be his likely next destination after his agent opened talks with the Middle East side.
Al-Ahli have already signed some of the world's best talent in recent years, but are to go one further and add a striker at the highest level and at the top of his game.
Helping Napoli to a Serie A title, Osimhen has been linked with a move to the Premier League as both Man Utd and Chelsea have been considering a deal.
Despite this, Al-Ahli are likely to win the race. They will trigger Osimhen's minimum fee release clause which is said to be 125 million euros, thus beating Paris St Germain, who have also expressed an interest, to the striker's coveted signature.
Osimhen has three years remaining on his current deal in Italy.
