Manchester United open talks for Marc Guehi

Man Utd have made the signing of Marc Guehi their primary transfer target, as the Crystal Palace begins his Euro 2024 tournament with England. Guehi caught the eye at Selhurst Park at the end of last season, with Palace having a formidable run to the finishing line and Guehi being an important part of the club's good form.
Marc Guehi could fill in for the injured Harry Maguire at Euro 2024 for England, but this has yet to be confirmed by manager Gareth Southgate. 23-year-old Guehi began his career at Chelsea, but didn't even play a first-team game before heading off to Palace. Guehi has 98 games in the Premier League for the Eagles, scoring three goals.
United, under new ownership, have decided to keep Erik Ten Hag for the new campaign, and instead bolster their squad with a host of new signings. Guehi is their number 1 target.
Palace are rumoured to be looking for around £50 million for the centre-back, and Guehi is desperate to join Man Utd. The Eagles have indicated that should a transfer fee be agreed, they will not stand in the defender's way.
