Arbeloa awaits Euro 2008

Alvaro Arbeloa is looking forward to the Euro 2008 tournament, and is confident that Spain can win the trophy in the summer. The Liverpool defender is looking forward to the summer showpiece.

“The objective is win the European cup,” he told El Mundo.

“It is important to think that we have to win as Spain have not done it often. It is the suitable mentality.

“We know we have to go step by step but the aim is just to win the European Cup.

“I am very happy to be there (in Madrid), I have lots of ambitions and huge motivation to do good things.

“I want to enjoy myself the best I can in this experience and go far.”
