M'Bami to leave Marseille

Modeste M'Bami has revealed he is almost certain to leave French Ligue 1 club Marseille in the summer, with a number of English Premiership sides interested in the player, including Arsenal and Everton.

"I want to see somewhere else," he is reported as saying in French daily L'Equipe.

"I don't want to sign an extension.

"I need a new challenge. I have had some good times at OM and to finish in third place is perfect. It is the best time to leave.

"If people at Marseille found I was a good player, then other clubs could also see me as a good player."
