Arsenal's £25m midfielder does not want to leave
Arsenal midfielder Emile Smith Rowe has no desire to leave the club amid interest from Crystal Palace, according to The Sun.
The 23-year-old has had a difficult couple of years with the Gunners. He had managed less than 700 minutes during this period.
This has led to suggestions that he could be offloaded for the right price. Palace are among his admirers and could make an approach soon.
Arsenal are prepared to sanction his sale for £25m, but The Sun claim that Smith Rowe is quite keen on continuing with the London giants.
Smith Rowe has another two years left on his contract with an option for another year. He believes he can still contribute for the Gunners.
It remains to be seen whether the Gunners share the same stance. They are planning a big spending spree and a new wide player could be signed.
Arsenal are also eyeing another creative midfielder and Smith Rowe could fall further down the pecking order if the club decide to keep him.
