Man Utd to make formal offer for PSG star very soon

Manchester United are expected to make a formal offer to sign Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Manuel Ugarte very soon, according to Traspasos.

The Red Devils are determined to land a defensive midfielder this summer and they have earmarked Ugarte as their priority transfer target.

Ugarte has also given the green light for a transfer and Traspasos claim that talks have progressed positive between United and Les Parisiens.

The Red Devils are planning to make a first bid for the player in the next few hours. 

Ugarte has spent just one season with the French giants, but he has decided to move on after falling out-of-favour under manager Luis Enrique.

The Uruguayan ace looks set to move on from the Ligue 1 champions and United could be perfect for him with the assurance of playing time.

He would be a clear upgrade on Casemiro in the no.6 role. Ugarte's vastly superior passing skills would make him an undisputed starter for United.
