Man Utd waiting for greenlight from 18yo wonderkid
Manchester United are waiting for the green light to sign Lille defender Leny Yoro, according to journalist Florian Plettenberg.
The Red Devils are aiming to sign two centre-backs this summer and they are already in advanced talks with Bayern for Matthijs de Ligt.
The club have also agreed a deal worth £42 million with Lille for Yoro, but they are yet to receive the green light from the teenage centre-back.
Yoro has had his sights on joining Real Madrid for some time, but the European champions have not matched United's offer.
As a result, Yoro has asked for some time but the Red Devils are growing optimistic that the Frenchman will choose to join them.
United have already offered a five-year contract to Yoro with an option for another 12 months. They are waiting for his commitment.
The arrival of De Ligt and Yoro at Old Trafford could pretty much end the club's long-term interest in signing Everton's Jarrad Branthwaite.
