Arsenal want to sign former winger with 15 goals last season

Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing Borussia Dortmund forward Donyell Malen this summer.

The Gunners are aiming to add more quality in the wide department and BILD claim that they are keen on reuniting with Malen.

Malen was previously in the Arsenal ranks as a teenager, but he opted to pursue his professional career with PSV Eindhoven instead.

He has since moved on to Dortmund where he has been a key player. He scored 15 goals and registered five assists in the last season.

Despite this, he is exploring a bigger challenge elsewhere and BILD claim that Arsenal could make an approach for the €40m-rated star.

Malen has already opened the door for a reunion with the Gunners. He said in an interview this year that he would like to return to the club,

Malen believes he has unfinished business, having missed out on the chance to break out with the Gunners and play in the Premier League.
