West Ham open talks to sign Man Utd defender
West Ham United have opened formal talks with Manchester United over the potential transfer of Aaron Wan-Bissaka, according to talkSPORT.
Wan-Bissaka has been a key player for the Red Devils over the past five seasons, but he is expected to leave in the coming days.
His current deal expires next summer and the club have no desire of negotiating a renewal with a replacement being lined up.
It is now revealed that the Hammers have entered preliminary talks for the 26-year-old, who is predominantly a right-back.
The Hammers are unlikely to spend big due to his contract status and reports claim that Wan-Bissaka could be signed for less than £15m.
Wan-Bissaka is aware of his current status at United. It has previously been reported that he could consider a new challenge abroad.
He was on the radar of Inter Milan not so long ago, but the Nerazzurri have cooled their pursuit with Denzel Dumfries ready to pen a new deal.
