Man Utd working on deal for 25 goal & assist winger

Manchester United are reportedly keen on landing the signature of Paris Saint-Germain winger Xavi Simons this summer.

The Red Devils have already bolstered their striking department with Joshua Zirkzee, but they are aiming to add more quality.

Simons has emerged as an option for them and Foot Mercato claim that talks are currently ongoing with Les Parisiens over a possible loan.

PSG currently owe a significant sell-on clause to PSV for Simons, but that is expected to reduce after the winter transfer window.

Hence, they are reluctant to sell him this summer. They are prepared to accept an initial loan deal with an option or obligation to buy.

Simons would be a fantastic signing for the Red Devils with his superb all-round attacking attributes. He can dribble and has plenty of pace on the counter-attack. He is blessed with splendid shooting skills.

The Dutchman scored 10 goals and provided 15 assists during his season-long loan deal with RB Leipzig during the 2023/24 campaign.
