Ligue 1 giants make opening offer for Arsenal striker
Ligue 1 giants Marseille have made an opening offer to sign Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah, according to Foot Mercato.
The England international has been a fringe player for the Gunners and he managed just over 1300 minutes last term.
He was a regular starter at the beginning of the season after Gabriel Jesus' knee surgery, but lost his place after the New Year.
Nketiah continued to remain on the bench and he was an unused substitute in the final six games of the Premier League season.
It is now revealed that Marseille have almost agreed personal terms with the striker and they are working on a deal with Arsenal.
The French outfit have sent an official offer to the Gunners which is undisclosed. It is left to be seen whether Arsenal sell him.
The Gunners are said to be eyeing around £30m for their graduate, who is also attracting interest from Fulham and Wolves.
Brighton & Hove Albion were previously interested under Roberto De Zerbi, who is currently the manager of Marseille.
