Man Utd want to sign French midfielder on a free

Manchester United are interested in signing French midfielder Adrien Rabiot on a free transfer, according to L'Equipe.

Rabiot was a key target for the Red Devils two years ago, but a deal did not materialise in the end due to differences in personal terms.

The Frenchman has since been a key player for the Bianconeri, but he is currently a free agent after the expiry of his contract on June 30.

It is now reported that the Red Devils are back in the hunt for the World Cup finalist and talks are currently ongoing with his representative.

The 29-year-old has the dream of moving to the Premier League and prefers to join the Red Devils amid interest from Liverpool.

United were reluctant to meet his £163,000 per week demands last time around, but they could do so this time around as he is a free agent.
