Arsenal have not made an approach for Spanish star

Arsenal have not made any approach to sign Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Fabian Ruiz, according to Foot Mercato.
The Gunners are searching for a new midfielder in the current transfer window and it was recently claimed that they made an approach for Ruiz.
Duncan Castles revealed that the Gunners could propose to sign him on a season-long loan deal with an obligation to buy next summer.
However, this has been dismissed by Foot Mercato who reveal that the Gunners have not made any enquiry for the Spain international.
Ruiz was in-and-out of the starting line-up for the French champions last term and he could leave with the arrival of Joao Neves from Benfica.
He has been linked with a move to the Premier League for some time, but it does not appear the Gunners are interested in landing his services.
They are instead focusing on the transfer of Real Sociedad star Mike Merino and have already made contact with the player's camp.
