Chelsea preparing talks to sign Jadon Sancho

Chelsea are preparing a surprise move to sign Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho before the transfer deadline next week.

The Blues registered an impressive 6-2 Premier League win over Wolves earlier today, but they are aiming to strengthen the squad further.

Dharmesh Sheth now reports that the club are lining up a move for Sancho and could be prepared to discuss a player-plus-cash deal.

The Blues are also open to signing him on loan with an obligation to buy, but United seem to prefer a cash agreement for the winger.

Sancho has yet to play for the Red Devils in the Premier League this term. He has not made the matchday squad in the opening two games.

He travelled with the team to the South Coast on Saturday, but manager Erik ten Hag did not pick him in the matchday squad.

It is quite clear that he does not have a future at the club. Sancho could move on before the transfer window closes on Friday.
