Man Utd ready to offer new contract to winger
Manchester United are ready to hand a new contract to winger Amad Diallo amid his impressive form this year, according to Manchester Evening News.
The Ivorian ace has started seven of the last nine games for the Red Devils. He recently created six chances in the victory over Southampton.
M.E.N now report that United are expected to offer a new contract to the 22-year-old with his current deal expiring at the end of the campaign.
The club have the option to extend his stay for another 12 months, but don't plan to trigger it unless there is an impasse in contract talks.
Diallo is presently one of the lowest earners at the club at just £29,000 per week. His agents could bring him on par with Alejandro Garnacho.
Diallo switched to the same agency as Garnacho earlier this summer. The Argentine earns around £50,000 weekly with additional bonuses.
United are aiming to sort out Diallo's future in the next few weeks.
