Rodri suffers knee injury in Arsenal draw
Manchester City midfielder Rodri picked up a knee injury during the 2-2 Premier League draw against Arsenal at the Etihad Stadium.
The Spaniard had a physical battle against multiple Arsenal players and he was substituted in the 21st minute after suffering a setback.
Rodri went down following the slightest of contact from Gunners star Thomas Partey and he was spotted holding onto his right knee.
Initial reports suggest that the Euro 2024 winner has picked up a knee problem and a timeframe will be known pretty soon.
City will conduct the necessary medical tests over the next 24 hours and there should be an official announcement from the club soon.
The Mancunian giants managed to avoid a defeat to the Gunners. They had a man advantage in the second half, but failed to capitalise.
Despite this, the club have returned to the top of the table with 13 points. Their next league game will come against Newcastle on the road.
