Jamie Carragher praises transformed Man Utd star
Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher has heaped praise on Christian Eriksen amid his glowing form for the Red Devils.
The Denmark international was a fringe player at the start of the season, but he has become an integral figure after the international break.
Eriksen has three goals and two assists in his last three appearances and Carragher believes United have benefitted from his quality on the ball.
He said: "It’s maybe one of the reasons I think you might be playing Eriksen, coming back to not having this holding midfielder to control the game.
"Someone to actually get on the ball and actually control the game rather than it being end to end."
Manuel Ugarte started alongside Eriksen against FC Twente while Kobbie Mainoo got the nod to partner the Dane at Crystal Palace.
It remains to be seen whether who will accompany him when United entertain his former club Tottenham Hotspur at the weekend.
