Arsenal handed injury boost ahead of Sporting trip
Arsenal have been handed an injury boost ahead of tomorrow's Champions League encounter against Sporting Lisbon on the road.
The Gunners returned to winning ways at the weekend with a 3-0 Premier League win over Nottingham Forest at the Emirates Stadium.
Myles Lewis-Skelly was not in the matchday squad after picking up a knock, but he has recovered in time for the trip to Lisbon.
The Gunners graduate has travelled with the squad to Portugal and he should make the matchday squad to face Sporting CP.
Arsenal are currently two points behind the top eight in the league phase of the Champions League. They need to break into those positions to directly qualify for the round of 16 stage.
It won't be easy to beat an in-form Sporting CP side, but Arsenal should be optimistic of their chances after their recent display.
They completely dominated proceedings last weekend. Martin Odegaard and Bukayo Saka were brilliant with their link-up play.
