Liverpool suffer double injury blow ahead of Man City game
Liverpool have suffered a double injury blow ahead of the Premier League clash against Manchester City at Anfield on Sunday.
The Merseyside giants secured a 2-0 win over Real Madrid in the Champions League on Wednesday after goals from Alexis Mac Allister and Cody Gakpo.
However, the game ended on a sour note for them with two injuries.
Conor Bradley picked up a hamstring issue and he was visibly distraught. Right at the end, Ibrahima Konate suffered a knee injury.
The France international needed treatment on the sidelines after the final whistle and he hobbled off the pitch soon after.
It is now revealed that the duo are genuine doubts for the City game.
Bradley's absence could be easily compensated as Trent Alexander-Arnold is fully fit and could start at right-back this weekend.
However, the same can't be said about Konate. Jarell Quansah and Joe Gomez are the back-up options in central defence.
Both have been inconsistent in the past and manager Arne Slot has a huge selection headache if Konate does not make the game.
