Bayindir to leave in January

Manchester United are reportedly planning to sign a new goalkeeper with Altay Bayindir expected to leave in the next transfer window.

Bayindir has been the deputy to Andre Onana since the start of last season and he has barely played for them with the lack of rotation in goal.

The Turkey international is keen to secure regular playing time elsewhere and United expect him to depart when the transfer window reopens.

The club have already started groundwork on possible replacements and we should know more about targets ahead of the turn of the year.

United have had a below-par season in the top-flight and they are currently 11th in the standings and seven points behind the top four.

The club look set to miss out on Champions League football for the second season running unless they make a tremendous turnaround.

Ruben Amorim has deployed a 3-4-2-1 formation since his arrival as manager and United need to adapt quickly and secure wins.
