Arne Slot praises Liverpool star after Fulham draw

Liverpool manager Arne Slot heaped praise on Diogo Jota following the 2-2 Premier League draw against Fulham at Anfield.
The Merseyside giants went into the game as favourites, but Andreas Pereira opened the scoring for the Cottagers in the 11th minute.
Andy Robertson received a straight red card soon after, but Liverpool managed to pull level shortly after the half-time break.
Rodrigo Muniz made it 2-1 in the visitors' favour in the 76th minute, but Jota came off the bench to equalise prior to stoppage time.
Liverpool could not bag the all-important winner in the end, but Slot was pleased with the outcome and praised Jota as well.
The Portuguese recently returned from injury and he made an instant impact with a crucial goal for the Reds in the title race.
He said: "Jota is so intelligent with his positioning and with what to do with the ball. It was a great team goal. It's nice to have him back, he's been away for two months."
Liverpool are currently five points ahead of second-placed Chelsea with a game in hand, but the deficit can be reduced to two if the Blues beat Brentford at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
