Ruben Amorim breaks silence on Marcus Rashford after Brighton loss
Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim spoke about Marcus Rashford following the 3-1 Premier League loss to Brighton & Hove Albion on Sunday.
The Seagulls have been a bogey club for the Red Devils over the past few years. They picked up a third-straight win against United at Old Trafford.
Speaking after the game, Amorim was posed with several questions and one of those was focused on Rashford, who was not part of the squad.
The Portuguese clearly mentioned that he does not trust the ability of Rashford, who has been linked with a move away from the club.
He said: "No matter what, I am not going to put a player I do not believe is the best for the team. Marcus is out of this moment because he is not playing."
Rashford fell out with Amorim earlier in December after he was dropped for the Manchester derby. He is now pushing to leave the club on loan before the transfer deadline.
