Chelsea eyeing surprise move for Spanish defender
Chelsea reportedly have an interest in signing Spanish defender Dean Huijsen from Bournemouth next summer.
The Blues recently recalled Trevoh Chalobah from his loan deal at Crystal Palace and he has started the last two games.
However, the club have their sights on a marquee signing for the summer and have spoken with the entourage of Huijsen.
The 19-year-old joined the Cherries from Juventus last summer and he has quickly transformed into a key player for them.
The Spain Under-21 international has contributed to their recent unbeaten run and the Cherries are keen to keep hold of him.
However, they could be in a helpless situation at the end of the campaign due to a secret release clause in his current deal.
Huijsen is undecided regarding his future and he could be tempted to join the Blues if the Cherries miss out on European football.
Bournemouth have exceeded expectations in the current season and they are just one point behind a Champions League position.
