Man Utd want to sign extraordinary star to bolster midfield
Manchester United are reportedly keen on landing Crystal Palace midfielder Adam Wharton when the transfer window reopens this summer.
The Red Devils are expected to reinforce their midfield department in the next window with Christian Eriksen and Casemiro due to leave the club.
The club have been linked with Atalanta's Ederson for some period of time, but Givemesport claim that they are also interested in Palace's Wharton.
United have monitored the youngster from his time at Blackburn Rovers and they are prepared to renew their pursuit in the summer.
Wharton has had an injury-plagued second year with Palace. He has just returned to action after spending three months on the sidelines.
United are likely to monitor his performances over the next few months. If he stays unscathed, they could make a formal offer on the table.
Arsenal and Chelsea are also admirers of the former Rovers graduate, who has been praised as 'extraordinary' by Sky Sports pundit Paul Merson.
