Arsenal eyeing surprise move for Swedish midfielder?
Arsenal are one of the clubs interested in signing Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder Hugo Larsson this summer, according to SportBild.
The Gunners are expected to reinforce their midfield department with the expected departures of Jorginho as well as Thomas Partey.
Jorginho's contract expires at the end of June. He has already started talks with Flamengo over a pre-contract deal for the summer.
Meanwhile, Partey has had a good injury-free season with the Gunners, but the club are reluctant to extend his stay due to his age.
It has been reported that Martin Zubimendi has agreed to join from Real Sociedad, but SportBild claim that another midfielder could arrive too.
Larsson's progress has been monitored by the London giants. Eintracht are prepared to do business if they receive around €50 million.
The young midfielder has opened the door for a big challenge, but the Bundesliga side have advised him to stay for another year.
Liverpool and Chelsea are also admirers of the Sweden international.
