Chelsea star out until late March with hamstring injury
Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson has been ruled out until the next international break with a hamstring injury, according to The Telegraph.
The west London giants have had a stop-start Premier League campaign, but they are still fourth in the table with 43 points on the board.
The Blues have a busy period coming up and reports claim that they will have to cope without Jackson, who has suffered a lengthy hamstring injury.
The Senegal international won't return to action until late March.
His absence has left the Blues without a recognised striker up front with summer signing Marc Guiu also sidelined for some time.
Christopher Nkunku has been picked to lead the line over recent games, but the Frenchman has looked short in confidence in front of goal.
Blues boss Enzo Maresca may have to persist with the Frenchman up front.
Chelsea take on Brighton in the Premier League on Friday night.
The Blues were eliminated from the FA Cup by the same opposition last weekend and they will be aiming to avenge the defeat.
