Arsenal eyeing surprise move for Victor Osimhen?

Arsenal could make a surprise move for Napoli striker Victor Osimhen at the end of the season, according to reports in Turkey.

The Nigeria international was linked with the Gunners last summer, but the club did not make a formal approach for him.

Osimhen was also on the radar of London rivals Chelsea, but the Blues were reluctant to meet his wage demands for a transfer.

The 26-year-old ended up signing for Galatasaray on loan.

He has been brilliant for the Turkish heavyweights this campaign, registering 20 goals and five assists from 27 appearances so far.

Osimhen's release clause will reduce to £62m this summer and it is claimed that Arsenal have now emerged as potential suitors.

Arsenal desperately need a new striker ahead of next season and they could swoop for the former Lille man over the summer.

Osimhen has a long dream of playing in the Premier League. He could finally realise the same with the Gunners next term.
