Man Utd to hijack Arsenal deal for 23yo Spanish star

Manchester United are prepared to hijack Arsenal's pursuit of Espanyol goalkeeper Joan Garcia this summer, according to Football Transfers.

The Red Devils are set for a busy summer transfer window and they could make multiple signings for manager Ruben Amorim.

A new shot-stopper could be signed due to the inconsistent form of Andre Onana. It is now claimed that Garcia is on their radar.

The Spaniard has developed into one of the best goalkeepers in La Liga. He has been tipped to join the Gunners for some period of time.

Garcia has a low release clause of just £21.5m in his deal. Arsenal have already agreed terms, but United could still bring him to Old Trafford.

The Gunners consider him as a deputy to David Raya in goal. United could convince him to join them with an assured starting role next term.

Onana could be on his way out with interest from the Saudi Pro League. His interest has already started talks with potential suitors.
