Man Utd defender set to miss Brentford clash
Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has confirmed that defender Noussair Mazraoui won't face Brentford in the Premier League on Sunday.
The Red Devils have had a gruelling campaign and they can't afford more injuries ahead of the second leg of the Europa League semi-final against Athletic Bilbao next week.
Mazraoui has been struggling with a knock and speaking in his pre-match press conference, Amorim said that the Moroccan will be rested for the upcoming trip to London.
The Red Devils have had a poor league campaign and they have picked up just 39 points from 34 games. Their season is now entirely dependent on the Europa League alone.
The club have a 3-0 lead from the first leg of the semi-final against Athletic and are overwhelming favourites to make the final against possibly Tottenham this month.
United have lost all three meetings against Spurs this campaign, but they should be confident of beating them in the final due to their experience in big finals over recent years.
