Perrotta may miss Euro 2008

Roma midfielder Simone Perrotta is a major doubt for the Euro 2008 tournament for Italy after picking up an injury in the Coppa Italia final against Inter Milan on Saturday evening.

Perrotta, who has 41 caps to his name for Italy, will find out shortly whether or not he will be fit to make the trip to Austria and Switzerland.

Perrotta was initially informed by Roberto Donadoni that he would be going to the Euro 2008 tournament, but he now may be dropped as there is still a player that has to be left out before the tournament begins.
