Arsenal chase De La Red

Arsenal have emerged as candidates to land talented midfielder Ruben de la Red from Real Madrid. Atletico Madrid, Villarreal, Deportivo and Sevilla are all interested in the talented playmaker.

As Arsenal begin their search for a long-term replacement to Mathieu Flamini, Ruben de la Red has emerged as a possible target.

However, the player is known to be eager to remain in Spain, and perhaps even at Real Madrid if given the chance.

De La Red impressed this year whilst on loan at Getafe, and an offer of £6 million could tempt Real Madrid into a quick sale.
