Chelsea forward to depart for Burnley early next week

Chelsea have agreed a £7.5 million fee for 23-year-old striker Armando Broja, as the Albania international will be allowed to leave Stamford Bridge for the newly promoted Premier League side. Broja has had two spells on loan at both Fulham and Everton, but failed to register a top flight goal during both of those periods and will now be allowed to leave the Blues for a new opportunity.
Burnley will have money to spend following the sale of goalkeeper James Trafford to Manchester City, and manager Scott Parker's first priority is another striker. Broja has been highly rated in previous years but has failed to show his ability in front of goal and disappointing loan spells have failed to demonstrate to Enzo Maresca that he is an alternative from the substitutes bench.
A deal will work well for both clubs, in the sense that Broja's contract will end at the end of the 2025-26 season, and Broja could also play regularly at the Clarets and in the Premier League. Broja will also receive a decent bump on his current Chelsea salary.
