David Moller Wolfe to join Wolves
Wolves will agree a fee for Norway international left-back David Moller Wolfe from AZ Alkamaar next week, with the 23-year-old signing a long-term contract at Molineux. Wolfe is very highly rated in the Netherlands and several other teams were chasing his signature, but the Premier League side have apparently won the race and agreed a £8 million fee for the Bergen-born player, who has 12 caps for Norway to his name.
This will be a major coup for Wolves, who have yet to be busy in the transfer window despite selling Matheus Cunha for close to £75 million to Manchester United. It is understood that Wolfe has already made an agreement with Wolves on a contract and just needs to undergo a medical for all things to be concluded from the player's side.
Wolfe started his career at Brann, before making a move to AZ in 2023 where he has gone on to play 67 times in the Eredivisie, scoring three goals. He also had attracted the interest of Ajax and PSV Eindhoven, but favours a move to England at this stage of his career.
