Hojlund to leave Man Utd on loan?
Manchester United are reportedly open to letting striker Rasmus Hojlund leave the club on loan, according to Fabrizio Romano. It is believed that the club would demand a hefty loan fee of around £5 million and an option to buy of around £35 million. They would also demand any potential suitor pay the entirety of the player's wage.
However, the player himself is reportedly not keen on a potential move away from Manchester and would prefer to stay and fight for his place at the club.
AC Milan are the club reportedly interested in the Dane and the Rossoneri are reportedly in contact with the player's agents to better understand the player's demands and his willingness to make a move.
The 22-year-old has experienced a difficult start to life in Manchester since his high profile £72 million move from Atalanta in the summer of 2023. He netted just 4 Premier League goals last season and is now believed to be out of favour at the club, hence the club's willingness to loan the player out.
With the arrival of forward Matheus Cunha from Wolves and the incoming signing of striker Benjamin Sesko from RB Leipzig, Hojlund is now likely to be somewhat of a fringe player in Ruben Amorim's side.
