Wolves chasing Chelsea duo

Nicolo Schira claims that Wolves have been in contact with Chelsea with regard to a move for Blues' pair Axel Disasi and David Datro Fofana. Disasi spent last season on loan at Aston Villa whilst Fofana joined Turkish side Goztepe and neither have secured a permanent transfer.
Wolves will have to be careful in the transfer window due to budgetary constraints and believe they can seal a deal for the pair for a little under £20 million.
Disasi, who played seven times for Aston Villa last season, arrived at Stamford Bridge from Monaco with a big reptuation but could not convince Enzo Maresca that he was the best option in defence, meanwhile Fofana joined from Molde in Norway in 2022 and has had two loan spells. Forward man Fofana has a decent goalscoring record, including a stint with Burnley, but is surplus to requirements at Chelsea.
It is understood that a transfer will likely be sealed before the end of this week giving the players time to link up with their new Molineux teammates.
