Bournemouth will sign Amine Adli this week
25-year-old Moroccan international Amine Adli will move to Bournemouth, after Bayer Leverkusen accepted a 30 million euro bid from the Cherries. The versatile forward, who is comfortable playing as an attacking midfielder, winger or a striker, has been with Leverkusen since 2021 and was an important member of the team that famously won the Bundesliga and DFB-Pokal in 2023-24.
Newly appointed Leverkusen boss Erik Ten Hag has told Adli that he is free to leave the club, and the board have already accepted Bournemouth's bid, with the player set to fly to England today to undergo contract discussions and then complete a medical.
Adli has appeared 15 times for Morocco's national team, but earlier represented France's under-21 international side. He previously played for Toulouse in France before making a move to Germany.
Bournemouth will beat several teams in securing the signing of Amine Adli, as it is reported that RB Leipzig had considered a transfer, but also Spanish club Villarreal made a last ditch bid to convince the winger to move to them instead.
