Rodrigo Muniz to move to Serie A

Fulham are ready to cash in on striker Rodrigo Muniz, as Serie A side Atalanta look to bring in a replacement for Ademola Lookman. Rodrigo Muniz, who joined the Cottagers in 2021 from Flamengo, had lost his place last season and despite scoring eight top flight goals, he has indicated that he wants a fresh challenge elsewhere.

Fulham look set to start the 2025-26 Premier League season with Raul Jimenez leading their attack, leaving Muniz destined for the substitutes bench. It is understood that the Cottagers are ready to accept a 35 million euro bid already received from Atalanta, 30 million of which is paid up front.

This will bring a significant profit Fulham's way, having signed Muniz for just 8 million euros in August of 2021.  Manager Marco Silva has indicated that the offer is too good to refuse for Muniz, and informed his management team to accept the bid.

The Cottagers are also trying to sign Reiss Nelson and Leandro Trossard from Arsenal, and therefore need funds to bring in the duo from the Emirates Stadium.
