Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana has agreed to leave the Red Devils on a season-long loan deal, according to The Athletic.

The Cameroon international has fallen out of favour under manager Ruben Amorim, and has not made an appearance in the Premier League this campaign.

With the arrival of Senne Lammens on deadline day, the door has opened for Onana to depart. He has now given the go-ahead for a loan move to Trabzonspor.

The Super Lig outfit won't be paying any fee for the temporary switch, but may have to contribute part of the goalkeeper's wages instead.

Onana is reviewing the proposal on the table, but he is widely expected to accept it to play regular first-team football in a World Cup year.

Altay Bayindir has started the opening three league games this term, but Lammens is anticipated to displace him at some point in time.

Bayindir has also been error-prone between the sticks for the Red Devils and a couple of poor displays could see Lammens take control.
