Man Utd preparing to sign two midfielders?

Manchester United could sign two midfielders for manager Ruben Amorim, according to TeamTalk.

The Red Devils were touted to land a new midfielder during the summer transfer window, but they could not find a suitable solution.

United are prepared to try again at the turn of the year and reports claim that they could make a couple of additions to the department.

The club's hierarchy have plans to sign a midfielder in January, and also have their sights on landing another at the end of the campaign.

Brighton & Hove Albion's Carlos Baleba is the priority target for the Red Devils, but they will have to wait until next summer for him.

In the meantime, the club are exploring the transfer market for another solution in January. Nottingham Forest's Elliot Anderson is being tracked.

Anderson has made immense progress in a short space of time at Forest and could be available for a premium fee in the next transfer window.
