Man Utd want to agree deal for Portuguese star
Manchester United are keen on landing the signature of Al Hilal midfielder Ruben Neves when the transfer window reopens in the New Year.
The Red Devils were aiming to land a new defensive midfielder over the summer, but they could not find a suitable option before the deadline.
The club are likely to resume their pursuit at the turn of the year, and Fichajes claim that Neves has emerged as a top target for manager Ruben Amorim.
Amorim has followed his progress from his time at Wolverhampton Wanderers and has urged the hierarchy to pursue a deal for him.
Neves is open to the prospect of returning to the Premier League and he appears prepared to accept a significant pay-cut for a winter deal.
Al Hilal are also open to cutting their losses on the Portuguese. They are willing to sanction his departure for a fee of around £17 million.
The Red Devils have also been linked with Brentford's Yehor Yarmolyuk.
