Chelsea want to sign another Man Utd star?

Chelsea retain an interest in signing Manchester United midfielder Kobbie Mainoo, according to football.london.

The Blues have had a good working relationship with the Red Devils. They recently signed Alejandro Garnacho from them.

Garnacho had a good debut off the bench against Brentford last weekend. He created the chance for Moises Caicedo's goal.

It is now reported that the Blues could recruit another player from United. Mainoo has been on their radar for a while.

The England international was keen on leaving United on loan during the summer transfer window, but his wish was not granted.

Mainoo continues to insist on a temporary challenge elsewhere, but there is a possibility that he could leave the club for good too.

Chelsea are keeping a close eye on his situation at the Mancunian giants and could swoop for his services at some point next year.

A winter deal seems unlikely on the cards, but the Blues could test United's resolve with a big-money offer at the end of the season.
