Arsenal set for injury boost ahead of season restart

Arsenal could be handed a timely injury boost ahead of the restart after the October international break.
The Gunners suffered a setback in the 2-0 win over West Ham United as Martin Odegaard was substituted with a fresh knee injury.
The Norwegian reportedly suffered a medial cruciate ligament injury, but he has still joined his teammates for the World Cup qualifiers.
Odegaard won't be involved in any training due to the unfortunate setback, but there is an indication that the injury may not be a serious one.
There is an outside chance that the Gunners captain could be back in training in the coming week and he could return to action this month.
If his recovery goes as planned, the playmaker could be available to face Crystal Palace or Brighton & Hove Albion towards the end of October.
Arsenal are presently top of the standings with a one-point lead over Liverpool after their comfortable derby win over the Hammers.
