Wolves star open to Man Utd transfer in January

Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Joao Gomes is open to the prospect of joining Manchester United during the winter transfer window, as per Record.
The Red Devils have been touted to bolster their midfield department next year and have already been linked with Elliot Anderson and Carlos Baleba.
However, Record in Portugal claim that Gomes is another player on their radar and the Brazilian has not ruled out a mid-season exit from Wolves.
Gomes has developed into one of the best defensive midfielders in the English top-flight. He is valued highly despite Wolves' woeful league form.
It is claimed that the Midlands outfit could be willing to accept around £44 million to part ways with the 24-year-old at the start of the New Year.
Wolves are unlikely to negotiate on the price. They could be reluctant to accept instalments and may want the entire fee upfront for a transfer.
Liverpool are also long-term admirers of the former Flamengo man.
